INTERFAITH PEACE STUDIES
  • IIPSGP INTERFAITH PHILOSOPHICAL WORK FOR PEACE
  • As part of the overall peace education outreach work of IIPSGP and its members, IIPSGP engages in intensive interfaith theological work for peacemaking and healing. Several of our ongoing research and education projects involve this work.  One of the projects this has resulted in is the work of the Multifaith and Multicultural Mediation Service,  The unique ability of IIPSGP to act as a mediator in disputes involving religions is due largely to a detailed study over many years in religious philosophy and comparative theology undertaken by the IIPSGP Director, Dr. Thomas Clough Daffern, in which he has absorbed the ideas, teachings, insights and wisdom of many different spiritual teachers, traditions, faith and knowledge paths and spiritual development perspectives. IIPPSG is pleased to share here therefore some of the details of this long journey, so as to better inform, educate and enlighten colleagues who may wonder exactly what is the basis on which IPSGP is making its own contribution to peacemaking in today’s complex and sometimes dangerous cultural and religious conflicts. Our vision is that an unashamedly transpersonal approach to wisdom can be developed by mankind as we actualize and realise the higher esoteric teachings contained in all the faith paths, and learn to put aside our differences, and celebrate instead the wonder and oneness that unites us as human beings in an awesome and beautiful universe.  Please contact the IIPSGP office direct for any further information, or concerning availability for lectures, workshops and courses.
